

Lisaniya: Advanced Studies on Arabic Language Teaching is a scholarly journal dedicated to Arabic linguistics and language teaching. Lisaniya comes from Arabic which means “linguistics”. It provides a platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners to share innovative findings in these fields. The journal upholds a rigorous peer-review process to ensure high academic standards, research originality, and quality. Lisaniya supports critical academic discussions and aims to contribute significantly to the advancement of Arabic language studies and teaching on both national and international levels. The first edition of Lisaniya: Advanced Studies on Arabic Language Teaching features research articles in the field of Arabic linguistics written by 12 authors from Indonesia and Malaysia. These articles explore a variety of important issues, including the historical development of the Arabic language, the periodization of scholars from the Kufan grammatical school, manuscript analysis, approaches to Arabic grammar (manhaj nahwu), the classification of speech (kalam), and the intellectual contributions of Abu al-Aswad al-Du’alī.
