This study aims to examine stylistic aspects in two significant expressions in the Quran: the supplication of Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) in Surah Ṭaha verses 25–28, and the vow of Maryam’s mother in Surah Ali Imran verse 35. Both are forms of vertical communication with Allah, rich in spiritual, emotional, and linguistic meanings. Using a stylistic approach, this research analyzes linguistic elements such as syntactic structure, lexical choices, semantic aspects, and the rhetorical effects produced by each style of expression. This is a qualitative study employing a descriptive-analytical method, with the primary source being the Quranic texts, supported by classical and modern tafsir (exegesis) to strengthen the analysis of meaning. The findings indicate that both texts convey stylistic values in terms of diction and sentence structure. The supplication of Prophet Musa is characterized by short sentence structures, direct requests, and a strong rhythm, reflecting urgency and assertiveness. Meanwhile, the vow of Maryam’s mother contains more complex sentence structures, filled with hope, devotion, and the use of touching maternal expressions. These two texts were selected to represent male and female figures, providing flexibility for the study. Both texts display distinctive stylistic features but are equally powerful in conveying the spiritual values and linguistic aesthetics of the Quranic Arabic.
