FOCUS & SCOPE

Uslubiya journal discussion topics: Stylistics studies applied to Arabic texts, both fiction and non-fiction. The intended stylistic studies include five levels of stylistic analysis (al-mustwā al-uslūbi). The five levels include:

1. Phonological level (al-mustwā al-ṣauti),

2. Morphological level (al-mustwā al-ṣarfi),

3. Syntactic level (al-mustwā al-nahwi au al-tarkībi),

4. Semantic level (al-mustwā al-dalāli), and

5. Imagistic level (al-mustwā al-tṣwīri).

Researchers who wish to contribute to this journal can choose this level of analysis depending on the genre of the formal object being analyzed. Whatever the choice of material object, the focus is on Arabic texts.
