We are thrilled to announce the first publication of Lisaniya Adabiya: Studies in Language and Literature. The debut issue of Lisaniya Adabiya: Studies in Language and Literature comprises scholarly articles pertaining to the disciplines of linguistics, literature, and translation, authored by 16 contributors from four nations: Indonesia, Egypt, Malaysia, and Yemen. The articles underscore several significant issues, including discrimination against women, binary opposition within literary texts, the values of religiosity as reflected in manuscripts, semantic and pragmatic analyses of linguistic phenomena in cyberspace, and the evaluation of translations of Arabic songs. Overall, this edition significantly enhances the fields of linguistics, literature, and translation, particularly within the realms of classical and popular media.
